I know about PA time aligning and tuning, but I wanted to see what you guys are doing as far as input
For example, are you guys delaying your drum mics to be in line with your PA?

Hi everyone, I’m working on breaking into touring and production companies as a stagehand, with the long term goal of moving into an A1 role. (prayers)
I’ve got about five years of hands on audio engineering experience, along with multiple certifications and lift training, but I feel like my resume isn’t doing a great job reflecting what I can actually do in a real show environment.
If anyone is willing to share their resume or give feedback on what stands out to employers in this space, I’d really appreciate it. I want to make sure I’m presenting my skills clearly and professionally so I’m not getting overlooked. Thanks!
In this industry, your resume is only part of the equation when getting a job at certain levels. Networking, overall attitude, punctuality etc. all make big impressions. If you have all of those skills lined up on you resume, I suggest applying to a sound house like Clair or another regional company in your area. If you have a union stagehand card that’s a plus too.
I was recently asked by a production company I work for as to what would be a good start to add backline to the list of gear.
