Today’s SJDD Podcast- Grace is Pardon - and Power
1 Corinthians 15:10
“By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain.”
Today’s devo is a reminder that grace isn’t just what picks us up when we fall, it’s what holds us up while we’re walking.
Grace forgives, yes. But it also fuels. It gives us the strength to keep going, keep obeying, keep showing up when we’re tired or struggling or over it. That’s what Paul meant when he said, “I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.”
If you’re feeling stretched thin or unsure how you’ll handle what’s in front of you, the load-in, the crew tension, the mental battle, this is your reminder that grace doesn’t just clean the slate. It empowers the steps.
You don’t have to do this in your own strength. And honestly, you can’t. But grace can. And it will.
Takeaway:
Before today gets too busy, ask God for grace not just to forgive what’s behind, but to fuel what’s ahead. Let that be your prayer before every challenge and every act of obedience.
You can start now, and if you want to walk through this stuff with me, you’re more than welcome.
Prayer:
God, thank You that Your grace is more than mercy, it’s power. I need that today. Help me rely on You for every step, every word, every task. Not in my strength, but by Yours. Let what I do today be a work of faith that points back to You.
Amen.
Reading this at the airport at 3am preparing for 4 shows in 48 hours. Not going to get a lot of sleep but I’m reminded that His grace is what sustains me through it all.
