How venues can make your day easier

Hey all!

I'm the PM for The Truman in Kansas City, a mid-size club venue. At just shy of 1,300 capacity, we’re small enough to get some artist’s first “bigger” tour while also getting a fair amount of more established artists on their smaller size shows. (Meaning we see everything from an X32 and a bin of mics to full arena support  rigs, and crew to match)

I’m always working on how to make the day easy and smooth for our tours coming through, but wanted to throw the question out in this space - What things do venues/venue staff do that either absolutely make your day or what are things that have made your day more difficult? I know that’s incredibly open ended, but I’d love to hear some things that have stood out throughout your time touring that might not be the obvious "everything works/everyone is nice = good day/everything is broken and people are rude = bad day".

Thanks!
