Where do you draw the line between these two terms and how do you define them?

If you're a good Audio engineer, you're also a good sound tech, there is no line, the job is to make it sound as good as possible, whatever it takes. White glove audio engineers that dont consider themselves sound techs are everyones least favorite mixers, dont be that guy and really only becasue as the Audio engineer its your responsibility for it to go well, do whatever it takes to guarantee that happens
